SEOUL, Jan. 11 (Yonhap) – Jung Ye-in from K-pop girl group Lovelyz has joined a new agency to prepare for her solo activities.
Sublime Artist Agency said on Jan. 11, “We signed an exclusive contract with Jung Ye-in,” adding, “We will provide support for the artist to actively perform in diverse fields, such as music, acting, and variety shows.
Jung Ye-in is currently preparing for her first solo album.
The singer debuted as Lovelyz in 2014 and drew attention with songs, such as "Ah-Choo," "Twinkle," and "That Day." Recently, she tried acting in web dramas "The Blue Sea" and tvN "Criminal Minds.”
Song Kang-ho, Rain(real name Jeong Ji-hoon), Kim Hee-jung, Yoon Jeong-hee, Ki Eun-se, Lee Yong-woo, Kim Yoon-ji, Hani(Ahn Hee-yeon), and Jackson·Young-jae from GOT7 belong to Sublime Artist Agency, where Jung Ye-in recently joined.
Meanwhile, Lovelyz members, who were virtually disbanded in November, 2021, have recently signed a contract with a new agency and they are walking their own paths.
Lee Mi-joo has joined Antenna led by Yoo Hee-yeol, and Kei will perform actively as a musical actress at PALMTREE ISLAND led by singer and musical actor Kim Jun-su.
