SEOUL, July 14 (Yonhap) -- Aerial action blockbuster “Top Gun: Maverick” has surpassed total of 5 million viewers, on the evening of July 14, which is its 23rd day since its premier in South Korea, announced provider Lotte Entertainment.
 

"Top Gun: Maverick" which recorded a cumulative viewers of 4.938 million by Wednesday attracted over 60 thousand audiences on Thursday.

 

Although the performance of “Top Gun: Maverick” struggled and dropped to second place on Korean box office for a week due to the premier of Marvel super hero movie “Thor: Love and Thunder” on July 6, but it has successfully claimed its lead last week showing outstanding performances.
