SEOUL, July 7 (Yonhap) -- Krafton's all-time popular game "Player Unknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG)" will release a character resembling South Korea's professional football player Son Heung-min, according to Kakao Games on Wednesday.
Kakao Games will receive pre-orders for Son Heung-min's character on its official website until July 20. Peoplecan receive a limited edition emoticon of Son right after they pre-order for the character.
Along with the character, images of Son Heung-min skins were revealed, where the football player was seen wearing football gear as well as a long coat.
The recent updates on PUBG include an addition of a new map called "TAEGO," which is set in the 80s in Korea as well as new features such as a second-chance mechanic where players can revive their characters one more time after its death.
