SEOUL, Mar. 15 (Yonhap) -- K-pop rookie monster NewJeans has reached another milestone with its “OMG” surpassing 200 million streams on Spotify, the world’s largest music platform, according to the group’s agency ADOR on Wednesday.
The quintet’s “OMG” recorded 22,076,893 cumulative streams as of Monday. The song became the newbie group’s third song to have hit 200 million streams, following their mega-hit debut songs “Hype Boy” and “Ditto.”
In the meantime, the group’s “Attention” and “Cookie” have also been played more than 100 million times on the international music application.
NewJeans, formed by ADOR, consists of five members: Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein.
