SEOUL, June 27 (Yonhap) –- “If BtoB’s version of Lee Min-hyuk is a more friendly version of me, solo version of Lee Min-hyuk is a combination of everything I like and wanted to do from stage performances to songs.” said BtoB's Lee Min-hyuk during his press conference for his album "BOOM"

BtoB’s member Lee Min-hyuk has returned to the music scene with his 2nd solo album “BOOM” which shows diverse colors.

It has been almost 4 years since he released his 1st single album “HUTAZONE” in 2019. Lee Min-hyuk an all round player who showed his ability to not only rap, sing but also produce his album has once again returned to the scene with a compact album which he fully produced.

“I wanted to provide my fans with more songs, that’s why I tried to pack as much songs as possible within my 2nd solo album ‘BOOM’.” Lee Min-hyuk express his feelings during the press conference held at Blue Square in Yongsan district on Monday.

The new album is filled with songs which express different sides of Lee Min-hyuk.

“Throughout everyday lives we all face different moments and different feelings.” adding “This will be an album where you will be able to find a song for every mood of your everyday lives.” Moreover Lee Min-hyuk described his album as “I put a lot of effort in to creating this album, because I wanted to create an album just like a holiday gift set.”

“When I first released my solo album, I wanted to appeal ‘Jekyll and Hyde like image, but now I want to show to the world that I am capable of creating a diverse genre of music.” announced Lee Min-hyuk during his press conference.

The title track “BOOM” is about a strange feeling derived from flutter. K-pop veteran Lee Min-hyuk who has debuted 11 years ago is expected to show a powerful performance based on top of a very strong beat.

According to Lee Min-hyuk, the title track “BOOM” suits his pen name “HUTA” which he has been using since his underground days perfectly.

“It might not be the most popular sounding song within the album but I personally feel like the song allows me to freely explore under the pen name 'HUTA', and provides me with an opportunity to show different charms.” emphasized Lee Min-hyuk during his press conference.

“As did my first solo album, there is a part for a coordinated dance but I intentionally tried something new and something fresh. This time you guys will be able to witness, sexiness coming from the relaxed and mature vibe.” Lee Min-hyuk mentioned during the press conference held for his 2nd solo album “BOOM”.

The harmony among BtoB’s Lee Chang-sub and Lee Min-hyuk stands out through the track “Is this love”.

According to Lee Min-hyuk, tracks such as “without you knowing”, “you are my spring”, “dangerous”, “Red Wine” and more are great for different moods and occasions.

He also expressed that he wanted to show much more mature side of him through his 2nd solo album.

Moreover, he described his current status as “I personally believe that by surviving more than 10 years in this industry, I can safely assume that I have successfully proven myself and my worthiness.” adding “I will continue on this journey and become more mature and show my improvements.”

Lee Min-hyuk will hold his solo concert next month and greet his fans.

“Since a lot of fans are not familiar with the solo artist ‘HUTA’ therefore my goal is to get exposed HUTA to more people.” announced, Lee Min-hyuk during his press conference.
