SEOUL, Feb. 18(Yonhap) – S. Korean stars Esom, Ong Seong-wu, and Shim Eun-kyung were confirmed as the leads of the upcoming romance film “Starlight Falls(translated),” directed by Choi Kook-hee, according to the agency THE LAMP on Friday. It is scheduled to begin filming in April.
“Starlight Falls” is a romance movie that depicts the story about the past and present of two female students, who have the same name as the male freshman in the setting of university campus in 1993.
Esom will play Lee Hyun-jung A, who is mature and confident compared to other students. Shim plays a hard-working and smart Lee Hyun-jung B, who was admitted to the department of food and nutrition, the same major as Lee Hyun-jung A, as the top student of the class.
Choi Kyung-soo, a male student who receives the attention of the two Lees, is played by Ong Seong-wu. Choi is a character who has difficulty opening his mind due to his trauma back in high school.
Yang Dong-geun plays the role of CEO Park, who runs the craft beer store in Sokcho, where Kyung-soo, who has become an adult, is working.
