SEOUL, Mar. 17 (Yonhap) -- South Korean theme park E-World Daegu will hold a cherry blossom festival from Saturday to Apr. 9, the park announced Friday.
Under the title “Blossom Picnic,” the park will showcase diverse things to watch, enjoy, and eat. An eye-catching rainbow lighting will be brightening the cherry blossom road that heads to the 83 Tower, which is also a famous spot to see full-blown cherry blossoms, adding romantic and colorful vibes to the festival.
In the square on the fourth floor of the Tower, a flea market with props and food trucks will also be waiting for visitors. In the meantime, animal farms, which are one of the best to-go places for children visitors, will be renovated into Juju Farm. The Farm will prepare events for children to feed animals such as alpacas and take pictures with them. An animal talk show will also be hosted at Bird Park where zookeepers will be sharing stories along with 10 colorful parrots.
The iconic red double-decker bus, which is also one of the most-visited photo spots, will also be moved to cherry blossom road during the festival season for visitors to freely take photos. In the meantime, a tulip garden will also be created at the side, making visitors feel as if they have traveled abroad.
“We hope visitors will make unforgettable memories that involve all five senses by looking at the beautiful flowers with their loved ones in the spring when everything comes back to life,” an official from E-World Daegu said.
