SEOUL, July 16 (Yonhap) -- Actor Nam Yoon-su has donated a kidney to his father.
Nam Yoon-su's agency, Agency Garten, confirmed in a call with Yonhap News on the 16th that "Nam Yoon-su underwent a kidney transplant surgery for his father on the 19th of last month."
The agency further explained, "Nam Yoon-su halted all activities earlier this year to prepare for the surgery. Both Nam Yoon-su, the donor, and his father, the recipient, have recovered quickly and have been discharged from the hospital."
Nam Yoon-su debuted as a model in 2014 and has appeared in dramas such as "Extracurricular," "The King's Affection," and "Today's Webtoon." He has also completed filming for the drama "Love Law in the Big City," though its air date has not yet been decided.
