SEOUL, July 20 (Yonhap) -- “I want to show people that I shine the most when I am on the stage.”
“Sexy Queen” HyunA said “I want to do a stage where I fly beautifully and leave marks in your hearts” at her eighth mini album “Nabillera” press conference on Wednesday.
“Nabillera” is an album that compares herself to “butterfly,” which catches attention with different patterns and light and leaves traces just by touching it. It contains her desire to leave a mark in someone's memory for a long time.
This is a comeback after a year and six months as solo.
For 15 years since her debut in 2007, HyunA, whether as a group or solo, has received a lot of love for her unique, confident and candid performances. With unstoppable charm, she even earned the nickname of “Sexy Queen.”
The album contains a total of five songs, including the title song with the same name as the album, teen rock “Bad Dog” that sends a message to the ex-lover, “Picasso & Fernande Olivier” with witty lyrics, and “Watch Me” which her soft voice stands out.
Title Song “Nabillera” is a Latin-style dance song with a light and simple beat. The head of her agency P-Nation, Psy and her lover, Dawn, co-wrote the lyrics.
HyunA said, "I shine the most when I perform on stage, and this is a song that captures those strengths," adding, “Dawn knows me so well. So good lyrics were able to come out.”
In particular, the choreography using “Macarena Dance,” which hit the world in the 1990s, is shown in the middle of the song, providing fun and memories to those who see it.
When asked about what goals she wants to achieve, she said, “To be honest, I have already achieved all of my goals in the past 15 years. Now, I feel at ease. I just want to be healthy. ”
