SEOUL, Feb. 26 (Yonhap) -- Violinist Kim Ji-yeon will perform Vivaldi and Piazzolla’s “Four Seasons.”
In Arts Production announced Kim’s performance “8ight Seasons” will be held on Mar. 5 at 5 p.m., at the concert hall, Seoul Arts Center.
“8ight Season” is an alternative stage organized as the originally scheduled Dallas Symphony Orchestra’s performance was canceled due to COVID-19.
Vivaldi composed “Four Seasons” in the 17th century with the motive of Sonnett, which depicts the scenery of the four seasons, and Piazzolla wrote the “Four Seasons” based on the port city, Buenos Aires. In the upcoming concert, the “Four Seasons,” of the two masters will be harmonized.
Classikan, a performance group with the motto of "Young Music, Fun Classic!" will also join Kim in the stage.
Following this performance, Kim will host a “Trio in: Do you like Brahms?” (translated) with cellists Song Young-hoon and pianist Cho Jae-hyuk on Mar. 8 (Lotte Concert Hall), and a duo recital with Cho on Mar. 15 (Seoul Arts Center IBK Chamber Hall).
