‘I Live Alone’ Kian 84 to open 1st solo exhibition

SEOUL, Mar. 8 (Yonhap) -- Webtoon writer Kian 84 (Kim Hee-min), widely known for appearing in the entertainment program "I Live Alone," will hold his first solo exhibition and show his aspect as an artist.

According to the agency Mystic Story, Kian84 will open the first solo exhibition (subtitle: Full所有) at the Superior Gallery, Gangnam-gu, Seoul from March 25~April 5.

Kian84, who has been loved for his popular webtoons “Fashion King” and “Return King,” began new art activities since the completion of “Return King” last year and sought an independent art world.

Among the 18 works on display, the "Self-Portrait" series featuring colorful colors and pleasant characters is filled with works that boldly express Kian84's feelings.

In addition, viewers will be able to see works derived from the character "Woo Ki-myung," which is the period of the artistic growth of Kian 84.

Kian84 said, "I was happy to be able to draw even during the days when I was struggling with COVID-19,” adding, “This moment, where I have fun as an artist, not a webtoon, is precious to me every day," he said.

Kian84 is planning to donate some of the first individual exhibition profits.
