SEOUL, July 7 (Yonhap) -- South Korean video game developer NCsoft will carry out a large-scale update on the 7th to mark the 4th anniversary of its flagship mobile game Lineage M.
Attention is focused on whether it will be possible to rebound through updates while Kakao Games' new film "Odin: Valhalla Rising" is threatening the position of "Lineage Brothers," which has been at the top of sales earlier on.
NCsoft received pre-orders until July 6 under the slogan Step 4ward, meaning a new leap forward for the update.
Users can experience different fun as new classes (vocational) "L-MORE" and new lands "Elmore" will be unveiled.
According to Lineage M's official website, "Death Letter" uses skills based on the concepts of "sentence of death" and "merciless slaughter." There are four major technologies: "Side Grab," which stops the target and then rushes quickly, and "Genoside," which attacks up to five NPCs.
A variety of new boss monsters will appear in the new territory "Elmore," which was first added to Lineage IP (Intellectual Property).
In addition, both Lineage M's existing users and new subscribers will receive 'TJ coupons' that support equipment restoration. The TJ coupon is derived from the initials of NCsoft’s CEO Kim Taek-jin, and is characterized by various rewards.
NCsoft will also introduce a growth support program that can foster characters faster, such as "the right to add up experience," and a new server called "Grim Reaper."
