SAMCHEOK Aug. 5 (Yonhap) – Global boy band ‘BTS’ effect is heating up the beaches of Samcheok, Gangwon-do.
Recently, Samcheok city officials have set up a “BTS Photo Zone” on Maengbang Beach where the band shot photos for its album cover for “Butter.” The photo zone restored the album cover’s setting.
For the last 4 days, the photo zone attracted almost 8 thousand daily visitors in average, according to the city officials Thursday.
“Visitors, wishing to take photos at the photo zone, form a long line on the Maengbang Beach even on weekdays. We are planning to add large BTS related architectures and to operate a stamp tour consisting of attraction spots recommended by BTS,” announced an official from Samcheok.
