SEOUL, Aug. 6 (Yonhap) -- Entertainer Jung Ka-eun has been tested positive for COVID-19 infection.
“Jung is under treatment after being confirmed with the virus infection. After treatment she will return to schedules following the quarantine lines,” said her agency, S-Dream Entertainment Friday.
Staff from Jung’s SBS FiL dubbed “The House Brightening Up Your Daily Life” have gone into self-quarantine after taking tests for infection. The filming is to be continued in the end of this month.
JTBC’s talk show “Turning Point”, another program featuring Jung, had no trouble with its broadcast schedule as she did not take part since her last shooting 2 weeks ago.
Meanwhile, a staff from JTBC’s new series “Reflection of You” was tested positive for infection so they had to halt the filming. Fortunately leading actors Ko Hyun-jung and Shin Hyun-been were both tested negative.
“All filming schedules are suspended and those who had contact with the confirmed case are taking the test for infection. We will resume with filming complying with the quarantine lines according to the test results,” said a official from JTBC.
Following the confirmed cases of actor Ji Chang-wook, singer Kim Hee-jae, Young Tak and Jang Min-ho, Xiumin, a member of boy band EXO, was tested positive for infection on Thursday as well.
The entertainment scene is continually announcing cases of COVID-19 infections.
