SEOUL,
Aug. 29 (Yonhap) --
The event allowed fans to preview all tracks and music videos from the new album ahead of its official release, drawing huge interest. According to the agency, when reservations for the theater sessions opened on Aug. 21, servers crashed and long queues formed, resembling a concert ticketing rush. The 50,000-attendee turnout marked the largest pre-release listening event ever for a Korean album.
The title track, "Like a Moment Eternal," unveiled at the gathering, delivers a message about life through lyrical verses such as, "I want to live this short life well / I want to love with all my heart." Its music video was released in advance on YouTube on Tuesday.
The 11-track album also includes songs such as "I’ll Be a Wildflower," "Because It Rains" and "Don’t Look Back."
Fish Music said the album showcases both the joy of variety and Lim’s deepened emotions, with an expanded musical spectrum and diverse charms. Unlike conventional albums that come with CDs, "I’m Hero 2" is packaged without one, featuring instead photos and messages from the artist in consideration of environmental concerns. The album book sales will not be counted toward official chart tallies.
Lim will kick off a nationwide tour in October, beginning in Incheon.
