Korea’s shadowy car tuning world opens up for a festival of legal drifting and camping

In a country where white, black, and silver sedans and SUVs dominate, you may be surprised that Korea has a thriving car tuning scene. The country’s car customization market is a multi-billion-dollar industry. We got a sense of that over the weekend at Korea’s first TS Tuning Car Festival on Incheon’s Yeongjong Island, where 20,000 people were in attendance – twice as high as expected!
