Ex-minister Cho Kuk set free under presidential pardon

Former Justice Minister Cho Kuk (R), former leader of the minor Rebuilding Korea Party, embraces the party's current chief, Kim Sun-min, after being released under a presidential pardon from Seoul Southern Detention Center in the capital on Aug. 15, 2025.
