N. Korea's Kim attends opening of new paper mill

A ceremony marking the completion of a new paper mill takes place in Unsan, South Phyongan Province, western North Korea, on Dec. 28, 2025, which North Korean leader Kim Jong-un took part in, in this photo released by the North's official Korean Central News Agency the next day. The Unsan mill is among the factories completed under Kim's regional development policy. In January last year, he ordered the building of modern factories in 20 cities and counties each year over a 10-year period to improve the living conditions of people in regional areas.
