SEOUL, June 3 (Yonhap) -- While BTS topped
the U.S. Billboard main single chart with its latest song "Butter,"
the K-pop act's previous albums are also climbing up the album chart.
On the "Billboard 200" main album chart, BTS's mini-album "BE,"
which was released last November, jumped 91 steps from the previous week and rank
70th.
BTS' fourth full-length album, "Map of the Soul: 7," released in
February 2020, ranked No. 76, rising 47 steps higher than previous week's
rankings.
The seven-piece act's repackaged 2018 album "Love Yourself: Answer," also
rebounded 43 steps to rank No. 109. In particular, the album has been on the
Billboard 200 chart for a total of 100 weeks including this week.
BTS also ranked second on the Billboard's Artist 100 chart, which measures the popularity
of artists, thanks to its hit single "Butter."
Artist 100 is a chart that shows the influence of artists through album and
track sales, streaming, radio airplay, and social media performances.
BTS's second English language song "Butter," released on May 21,
entered the Billboard main single chart "Hot 100" this week.
"Butter" is the K-pop act's fourth No.1 song on the Hot 100 chart after
"Dynamite," the remix version of Jason Derulo and Jawsh 685's "Savage
Love," and the title track of its "BE" album sung in Korean.
Meanwhile, K-pop rookie group ENHYPEN, who debuted last year and is managed by
BTS's agency, HYBE Labels, remained on the Billboard 200 chart for two
consecutive weeks with their second mini album "BORDER: CARNIVAL".
ENHYPEN remained on the chart this week, ranking 190th, following their first
Billboard 200 entry last week with a surprise ranking as No.18.
