SEOUL, June 2 (Yonhap) -- South Korean film
director Yoo Ha's new film "Pipeline," which is about a crime
committed by six thieves who steal oil, has been sold to 12 countries around
the world, including North America.
The film was released in North America on May
28th and is set to be released in Singapore, Vietnam, and Malaysia this month,
according to Fine Cut, an overseas movie distributor.
"Pipeline" has also been sold to
Asian countries such as Taiwan, Japan, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Laos,
Cambodia and Myanmar.
The crime action film shows a group of
thieves who dream of turning their lives around by stealing oil hidden underground.
The movie was released on May 26th in South
Korea and ranks third in the box office with an accumulated audience of 100,000
viewers.
