SEOUL, July 1 (Yonhap) -- K-pop girl group
Red Velvet's main vocalist Wendy has been selected as a radio DJ for SBS Power
FM "Young Street" and will host the program from July 12, according
to SBS on Thursday.
After singer-actor Lee Joon stepped down from hosting "Young Street"
in May, the radio program has proceeded by inviting a special guest as the DJ
for about two months.
"I've dreamed of becoming a radio DJ for a long time. I want to provide
people a pleasant evening at 8 p.m. with my positive energy," Wendy said.
Wendy, who debuted as a member of Red Velvet in 2014, released her first solo
album "Like Water" in April, seven years after her debut.
"Young Street" airs every day at 8 p.m.
