Yoon expresses condolences to families of Spanish flood victims

SEOUL, Nov. 1 (Yonhap) -- President Yoon Suk Yeol on Friday expressed his condolences to the families of victims of a deadly flood in southern Spain.

"I express my deepest sympathy to the victims and their families who have suffered from the devastating flood in Spain," Yoon said on his social media account.

"We stand with Spain in these difficult times and sincerely hope for a swift recovery in the affected areas," he added.

Yoon's remarks came after the deadly flood in southern Spain, which occurred earlier this week and has claimed 158 lives so far.
