N. Korea, Russia's FMs to hold meeting on Friday: report
SEOUL, Nov. 1 (Yonhap) -- North Korea's foreign minister will hold talks with her Russian counterpart in Moscow on Friday, a Russian news agency reported, amid concerns that the North's troops deployed to Russia may soon join combat in its war against Ukraine.
Choe Son-hui, the North's top diplomat, will hold talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, according to a report by Sputnik, which cited the Russian foreign ministry's spokesperson, Maria Zakharova.
The event comes amid North Korean troops' possible participation in Russia's war in Ukraine.
Experts say the meeting is also likely to include discussions about a potential visit by North Korean leader Kim Jong-un to Moscow amid deepening military ties between the North and Russia.
