Consumer prices rise 2.1 pct in July

Park Byeong-seon, a senior official at Statistics Korea, speaks during a press conference at the government complex in Sejong, central South Korea, on Aug. 5, 2025, to announce South Korea's consumer prices grew by more than 2 percent for the second consecutive month in July, mainly driven by higher costs of industrial goods and services.
