SEOUL, May 26 (Yonhap) -- Boy group NCT
Dream's first full-length album "Hot Sauce" has sold 2,040,360 copies
until Tuesday, according to SM Entertainment, the K-pop act's agency.
This record was achieved after 16 days
since the album was released on May 10, and 300,00 more albums were sold
compared to the 1.71 million pre-order sales.
The 'million seller' album sold more than 1
million copies in just one week.
NCT Dream ultimately became the
"Double Million Seller" artist for the first time after its debut.
"Hot Sauce" is the first album
released by NCT Dream as a seven-member band after member Mark rejoined the
group.
"Hot Sauce" topped iTunes'
"Top Albums" charts in 37 countries around the world as well as local
weekly music charts.
In particular, "Hot Sauce" was a
big success in Asian countries as the album topped Japan's Oricon Weekly Album
Chart, Billboard Japan's Top Sales Album chart, China's QQ Music, Cougou Music,
and Couwor Music's digital album sales charts.
