SEOUL, May 26 (Yonhap) -- “The Volunteers, TVT," an indie rock band led by singer-songwriter Baek Ye-rin, will release their first full-length album "The Volunteers" on the 27th.

According to TVT's agency, Blue Vinyl, the album will feature four new songs that further enhance the rock sound with TVT's previous unreleased six songs.

The three title tracks include, "PINKTOP," "Let me go!," and the pre-released song "Summer." Blue Vinyl explained, "It's a compilation of fascinating music that will allow people to spend the upcoming summer season with rock."

Formed in 2018, The Volunteers is a indie rock band composed of Baek Yerin (vocal, guitar), Koh Cloud (base), Kwak Min-hyuk(guitar), and Kim Chi-heon (drum).

The band has already formed a fandom as they received attention for their songs released on SoundCloud and YouTube without officially releasing an album.

The Volunteers' songs recorded 3 million streams on SoundCloud and 1 million views on YouTube, respectively. Many fans are also awaiting for the official release of the band's album.

The band is led by Baek Yerin, who has emerged as one of the most popular female solo musicians in the pop music industry, and is gaining both popularity and critical acclaim.
