SEOUL, June 29 (Yonhap) -- South Korean video game developer and publisher Pearl Abyss' online game 'Black Desert ' is set to launch the mobile version in China.

On the 29th, Pearl Abyss announced that the mobile game received approval from the National Press and Publication Administration of China the previous day.

Publication of the game, such as distribution and services, will be handled by the mobile game platform iDreamSky, in which the world's largest video game vendor Tencent Holdings Ltd. has invested.

'Black Desert Mobile', which was released in February 2018, is the mobile version of Pearl Abyss' main game 'Black Desert Online'. A sandbox-oriented fantasy massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), it is currently available in 12 different languages to about 150 countries.

"As 'Black Desert Mobile' is expected to rank No. 3 on China's largest game site '17173', we are doing our best to localize the game by working closely with Chinese partners," a representative for Pearl Abyss said.
