SEOUL, June 30 (Yonhap) -- Actress Son Ye-jin will return to the TV screens with JTBC's new drama "30, 9."
"Son Ye-jin has decided to participate in '30, 9' as her next work and the drama is scheduled to be organized by JTBC," said the actress's agency MSTAM Entertainment on Wednesday.
The drama, which depicts the friendship and love of three 39-year-old friends, is written by Yoo Young-a, who also wrote the script for drama "Encounter" and the movies "Kim Ji-young: Born 1982" as well as "Miracle in Cell No. 7." Director Kim Sang-ho of the drama "Run On" will be in charge of directing.
Son Ye-jin plays Cha Mi-jo, a dermatologist in Gangnam who grew up in a well-to-do environment, and will work with actress Jeon Mi-do, who is currently starring in the popular medical drama series "Hospital Playlist."
