2023년 11월 3일 방탄소년단 정국이 첫 번째 솔로앨범 '골든'(GOLDEN)을 발매했다.
'골든'(GOLDEN) 앨범은 ‘황금빛 순간’을 모티브로 삼아 방탄소년단의 '황금 막내'로 데뷔해 솔로 아티스트로 '글로벌 팝스타'에 오르기까지 정국의 성장사가 담은 앨범으로 정국은 "한층 확장된 자신의 음악 세계를 표현하고자 다양한 장르에 걸친 수록곡을 모두 직접 선별하는 등 앨범 제작 전 과정에 참여했다"고 소개했다.
