Drillship for East Sea gas exploration arrives in S. Korea
The West Capella, operated by Norway-based Seadrill Ltd., arrives at the southeastern port city of Busan on Dec. 9, 2024. It is set to begin its first drilling operation in the East Sea the following week as part of South Korea's gas and oil exploration project, which has the potential to uncover an estimated 3.5 billion to 14 billion barrels of gas and oil.
