SEOUL, May 20 (Yonhap) -- BTS will appear on Melon's audio content "Melon Station" to talk about their upcoming song, "Butter" on the day of its release.
Melon Station announced on the 20th that a new music program, "BIGHIT MUSIC RECORD," will be exclusively made only for Big Hit Music's artists and that BTS will be the first guests to appear on the 21st (KST).
BTS members will introduce their new song themselves and answer questions asked by Melon users regarding the band's music and daily routines.
"BigHit Music Record" will be made as Melon's exclusive audio content, where singers from Big Hit Music reveal new information as well as their favorite playlist.
BTS's digital single "Butter," which will be released worldwide at 1 p.m. on the 21st, is their second English song with a refreshing and addictive dance pop melody. BTS's charm has been heralded as a "summer song," increasing fans' expectations.
In addition, BTS will unveil "THE WINGS TOUR Chicago" for the first time on JTBC2 channel at 7:40 p.m. on the 20th, which features BTS performing live in Chicago during its 2017 world tour.
On the previous day, the teaser video for the music video "Butter" was released. In the black-and-white screen, BTS stood side by side wearing suits and shook their heads to the rhythm as the music played.
Then the members covered their mouths as if they were surprised, and the screen switched to show a butter melting on a plate of pancakes.
The video ends with BTS member Jung Kook singing the lyrics, "Get it, let it roll".
