SEOUL, May 11 (Yonhap) -- Singer and actress Kim Se-jung is set to continue her musical journey in the arms of her original agency, Jellyfish Entertainment.
On May 11th, Jellyfish Entertainment said that they have renewed their contract with Kim Se-jung, adding, "We will fully invest and assist Kim Se-jung's activities in the future so that we can become a strong support for the singer."
Kim Se-jung had been a trainee at Jellyfish Entertainment before debuting as a girl group, I.O.I., which was formed through season 1 of Mnet's popular girl group survival reality show, "Produce 101" in 2016.
The singer was also a member of Gugudan, a girl group formed by Jellyfish Entertainment, and she recently released a series of solo albums as well.
In addition, Kim Se-jung earned popularity by starring in dramas such as "The Uncanny Counter," "School 2017," and "I Wanna Hear Your Song."
