SEOUL, May 10 (Yonhap) -- Actor Park Hae-joon, who captivated viewers with the popular drama "The World of the Married," will return to the TV screens with his first solo lead role.
Bliss Media, a public relations company, announced that Park Hae-joon will star in a new drama called "I'll Give It My All...Tomorrow" produced by JTBC Studio.
"I'll Give It My All...Tomorrow" is a drama based on a comic, where an ordinary 40-year-old man living in Korea goes through a midlife crisis and embarks on a journey to find his lost self.
Actor Park Hae-joon will play Nam Geum-pil, the 40-year-old man who quits his job without making any plans and follows his passion to become an aspiring cartoonist.
The drama which is based on a Japanese cartoon with the same name, is directed by Im Tae-woo of "Steal Heart," co-written by Park Hee-kwon, who also wrote the movie "Flu," and writer Park Eun-young from "Maundy Thursday."
The production team for the upcoming drama said, "Park Hae-joon is taking on a challenge by acting in a comic drama. Please look forward to the courageous wandering of a middle-aged man in a society where he is forced to do his best."
