SEOUL, May 31 (Yonhap) -- Lee Sang-soon, a guitarist, singer-songwriter, and husband of the famous songstress Lee Hyo-ri, will release his first solo EP under his name..
According to the singer's agency, Esteem Entertainment, Lee Sang-soon will release his EP "Leesangsoon" on various online music sites on June 4th.
It will be the first time for Lee Sang-soon, a former member of the band Roller Coaster who also worked with singer Kim Dong-ryul on the "Verandah Project" to release a solo mini-album under his name.
The last album the guitarist released was 11 years ago as part of the Verandah Project called "Day off" in 2010.
The album features four calm songs with a relaxed tempo, including the title track "You and Your. (tentative title)." It will also be released as an analog album containing five songs with a bonus track.
Lyricist Park Chang-hak co-produced while singer-songwriter Sunwoo Jung-ah also participated in a duet and writing the lyrics for the tracks. In addition, talented musicians including Son Sung-je, Cho Yoon-sung, Lee Kyu-ho and Lee Sang-min helped produce the album.
Esteem said, "As someone who have shown great affection towards South American pop music as a musician and radio host, Lee Sang-soon has interpreted a new and unfamiliar music world through this album."
Lee Sang-soon signed an exclusive contract with Esteem Entertainment, the same agency Lee Hyo-ri is currently being managed, last year, and recently reported that he will join the JTBC music contest "Super Band 2" as a producer.
