Rally against S. Korea-U.S. joint military drills

Members of the Solidarity for Peace and Reunification of Korea, a Seoul-based civic group of progressive activists, stage a rally in Seoul on Aug. 18, 2025, to call for the suspension of a major joint exercise, the annual Ulchi Freedom Shield exercise, that South Korea and the United States kicked off the same day to strengthen their combined readiness posture.
