A leopard cat, an endangered species called "sak" in Korean and active at night, searches for prey along a stream in Gangneung, Gangwon Province, northeastern South Korea, on April 30, 2025. In South Korea, the animal is listed as Class II endangered wildlife, feared to be threatened with imminent extinction. (Yonhap)
