S. Korea marks Hangeul Day

An Egyptian resident shows her Korean calligraphy work as she takes part in a Korean calligraphy contest in Seoul on Oct. 9, 2025, as part of events to celebrate the 579th anniversary of the invention of the Korean alphabet, called Hangeul.
