Grain purchase ahead of 'Daeboreum' festival

A shopper browses various kinds of grains at a store in Incheon, west of Seoul, on Feb. 10, 2025, to prepare "ogokbap" or a five-grain steamed rice for breakfast on Jeongwol Daeboreum, a traditional Korean holiday that celebrates the first full moon of the year according to the lunar calendar. The holiday falls on Feb. 12 this year. The five grains are rice, millet, Indian millet, beans and red beans. Korean custom has it that ogokbap, when shared with three other homes, provides good health to the family. (Yonhap)
