Trump announces 25 pct tariffs on all steel, aluminum imports

Steel products for exports are piled up at a port in Pyeongtaek, south of Seoul, on Feb. 11, 2025. U.S. President Donald Trump announced plans the previous day to impose 25 percent tariffs on all steel and aluminum imports coming into the United States "without exceptions or exemptions," raising concerns over its ramifications on South Korean and other exporters.
