Citizens wait in line in front of a restaurant in Seoul to eat "samgyetang," a traditional Korean soup made with a whole young chicken stuffed with ginseng, sticky rice and garlic, on Aug. 14, 2022, one day before "malbok," one of the 24 seasonal markers on the lunar calendar. Malbok is the last day of the three hottest days of summer, when Koreans traditionally eat foods that give them energy to fight the heat. (Yonhap)
