Icebreaker on Seoul-Incheon Canal
An icebreaker owned by the state-run Korea Water Resources Corp. sails through ice in the Seoul-Incheon Canal in the city of Incheon, west of Seoul, on Jan. 14, 2026, to make a path amid a cold wave. The canal, called the Ara Waterway, connects the Han River, flowing through central Seoul, and the Yellow Sea. (Yonhap)
