Passage of bill on special investigation into ex-first lady

Lawmakers of the ruling Democratic Party pass a bill during a plenary session of the National Assembly in Seoul on June 5, 2025, that calls for an independent probe into former first lady Kim Keon Hee's stock manipulation allegations, as well as her receipt of a luxury bag and her alleged interference with the then ruling People Power Party's candidate nominations ahead of the April 10 general elections.
