Globally acclaimed DJ and producer, Alan Walker releases new single "Believers"

SEOUL, May 14 (Yonhap) -- Globally loved DJ and producer, Alan Walker released his new single "Believers" on Friday, according to Sony Music Entertainment Korea.

Norwegian DJ and producer Allen Walker has released many hit singles since the mid-2010s, including "Faded."

In particular, he continued to present music related to games. In 2017, he participated in the production the theme song for the World Championship in "League of Legends," and "On My Way" and "Live Fast," released in 2019, which were adopted as official background music for the  mobile game, "PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds."

The music video, which will be released at the same time as the song "Believers," also shows Alan Walker's unique view of the world, including high-level graphics, which resemble video games.

Singer-songwriter Conor Maynard, who gained popularity through uploading cover songs on YouTube, participated in the song as well.

"'Believers' is a song that I started working on during Covid-19," Alan Walker said. "I wanted to make it so that I could give people joy and a sense of getting away from difficult times like this."
