SEOUL, June 1 (Yonhap) -- K-pop boy group Monsta X will make a comeback by releasing its ninth mini-album, "One Of A Kind," on various music sites at 6 p.m. on Tuesday (KST), according to its agency Starship Entertainment.

Last November, Monsta X released its third full-length album "Fatal Love" and the group voiced excitement for its soon-to-be revealed album. Member Min-hyuk said, "After 'One Of A Kind' is unveiled, I'm very curious to how the public will react to the album," adding, "I've been waiting a long time for this moment to come."

The fact that Monsta X's member Joo-heon was in charge of producing the title track of the album also captured the fans' interest.

Regarding the title track, "Gambler," Joo-heon said, "This song conveys the feeling of someone who is strongly attracted to the person they love that it makes them want to bet everything they have just to be with that person."

"I wanted to make a song that would highlight Monsta X's charms and capabiltiies," Joo-heon added.

Ki-hyun also mentioned, "I watched how much effort Joo-heon made while working on 'Gambler.' I think this song is perfect to show each member's uniqueness but also the great chemistry formed within our group."

The album also includes "Secret" and "Rotate," which are self-composed songs by members Hyung-won and I.M respectively.

Meanwhile, Show-nu could not join the comeback of Monsta X due to an injury on his left eye.
