KMA head's hunger strike
Lim Hyun-taek, head of the Korea Medical Association (KMA), continues a hunger strike inside the KMA headquarters in Seoul for the fifth consecutive day on Aug. 30, 2024, protesting the government's medical reform plans, including the increase in medical student enrollment. (Yonhap)
