As of today, with a grace period of a week, South Korea’s expanded COVID-19 vaccine pass is underway, as the government defends against soaring infections and the rise of the Omicron variant. So, we now have to show a vaccine pass when visiting restaurants, cafes, learning academies or hagwons, study rooms, movie theaters, PC rooms, libraries, and museums. These passes were already needed for places like saunas, bars, and gyms. But this expansion of affected facilities has caused an uproar!
