SEOUL, Oct. 27 (Yonhap) -- IOPE, a clinical-grade skin care brand, said on Tuesday it launched "XMD Clinical Recovery Serum Gel Mask," designed to intensively care for inner skin hydration, firmness and radiance.

The new product is a high-performance LDM hydrogel mask inspired by dermatological glass-skin and firming treatments. It is designed to intensively care for the skin's inner moisture and firmness layers, helping provide an immediate dewy glow and improve skin firmness. It allows users to experience professional-level intensive care at home with a single mask.

According to the clinical study, a single use improved inner skin hydration by 37.5 percent, firmness by 34.8 percent and radiance by 92.9 percent, the firm said. A comparative evaluation against a specialized water-drop treatment also showed greater improvements across key indicators.

The "XMD Clinical Recovery Serum Gel Mask" contains PDRN H.A. the key ingredient in IOPE's XMD serum, in each mask to intensively care for hydration and firmness. Panthenol and ceramide have also been added to help strengthen the skin barrier.

The mask also incorporates IOPE's proprietary material technology, "Thermo-Wrapping Dual Layer™." Its two-layer structure combines hydrogel containing PDRN H.A.™ with a special film layer to closely wrap the skin and create an environment at an optimal temperature for the delivery of active ingredients, increasing absorption by more than twofold.

With the launch of the new product, IOPE plans to expand its XMD product line and strengthen its competitiveness as a clinical-grade skin care brand. The "XMD Clinical Recovery Serum Gel Mask" became available first at Olive Young on Oct. 26 and will be offered through major online channels, including Naver and Amore Mall, starting Nov. 2.
