SEOUL, Sept. 14 (Yonhap) -- Coupang will open a pop-up space where customers can experience its private-label (PB) products offline for the first time.
CPLB, Coupang's private-label subsidiary, said Monday it will hold an offline event, "Coupang Only Festa," at Anderson C in Seongdong District, Seoul, from Sept. 17-20.
The event will bring together Coupang PB products from various categories, including food, household goods, beauty and fashion, in one space.
It marks Coupang's first offline pop-up since establishing its PB subsidiary in 2020. In addition to product experiences, the event will introduce customers to products from the own brands of small and medium-sized companies that manufacture PB products for Coupang.
Programs include a "taste preference" test featuring rice and mixed grains, detergent and fabric softener refill experiences, and free samples of various household products, including wallpaper and draft stoppers.
On Sept. 18-19, the event will also operate "Gomgom Restaurant," where dishes will be prepared using food PB products as ingredients.
"We hope customers will be able to taste and experience a variety of Coupang PB products in one place and experience their quality and diversity firsthand," Jeon Kyung-soo, CEO of Coupang CPLB, said.
