SEOUL, Aug. 4 (Yonhap) -- Kang Kyun-sung, 45, a member of vocal group Noel, will marry actress Yoo Ha-jin, 31, in October, his agency said Monday.

 

S27M Entertainment said Kang and Yoo will tie the knot at a private wedding in Seoul on Oct. 30.

 

"The two have promised a future together based on deep trust and affection," the agency said. "Kang decided to marry out of his deep love for and confidence in his bride-to-be, and he will continue his career both as the head of a family and as an artist."

 

Kang also shared the news with fans through social media Sunday.

 

"I've met someone precious with whom I want to spend the rest of my life," he wrote. "I sincerely thank Noel Light (official fandom name) for always supporting me and sharing so many precious moments of my life. I would be truly grateful if you continue to watch over us warmly and bless our future together."

 

Kang debuted as a member of Noel in 2002 and is known for hit songs such as "Holding On," "Propose" and "Missing You, Missing You."

 

Yoo made her acting debut in the 2019 MBC drama series "One Spring Night" and most recently appeared in the play "Rental Apartment," which concluded its run on Aug. 2.
