SEOUL, Aug. 20 (Yonhap) -- Tiffany Young of Girls' Generation will release her first solo full-length album, "Edge Of Calm," at 6 p.m. Thursday, her agency Pacific Music Group said.
"Edge Of Calm" sensuously captures moments when subtle tension, focus and emotional balance intersect just before stillness. Drawing on her deepened musical sensibility, Tiffany Young explores delicate emotional contours.
The album contains 11 tracks, including the double title tracks "Edge Of Calm" and "Lips Together," as well as "Codes," "Drip Drop," "Halfway Honest," "Moment" and "Lovers."
"Edge Of Calm" captures a moment of quietly embracing someone caught in waves of anxiety and emotion and staying by their side without words. Tiffany Young sings of a love that serves as a "safe space" where two people can briefly lean on each other and rest at the boundary where confusion passes by.
"Lips Together" features Miyeon of (G)I-DLE. The song expresses the desire to have a wounded heart healed through love.
Tiffany Young participated in planning the album's concept, styling, visual direction and music video story development.
She recently appeared as Kim Yu-mi in the original musical "Yumi's Cells."
